Submission Guidelines

Shiloh House Press is open for queries.

Please submit your queries to our DMs on Twitter.

If we think your project sounds like it could be a good fit, we will reply with submission instructions.

So, what are we looking for?

Literary works screaming to be read in print. Our debut was a macabre horror about the tragic fate of a band from the 1970s that was constructed to look like a vinyl LP. If something about your project would be lost in translation as an e-book, there’s a good chance we’ll be curious. However, we are also open to works that must be read by turning pages how nature intended. But even then, we have a fondness for things that “hit different”.

With regards to content, anything goes. We will consider everything from prose to poetry, contemporary literary fiction to genre fiction, lighthearted to grimdark, traditional to countercultural, naturalist to postmodernist.

We are highly intrigued by the post-millenial and the metamodern.

And we love a good story, especially one with something to say.

So if you think your work meets any or all of these criteria, hit us up.
